Just last month I've got paid by Matched.co.uk, and now that I received this notification about the sudden shut down of this generous UK based blog advertising network.

It is with much regret that we announce that Matched.co.uk has closed.

Matched has been running as a beta experiment for some time and, after much careful consideration, it has been decided not to progress the project to the next stage.

As a result, Matched will not be accepting new sign-ups and will no longer be assigning adverts to its current publisher base.

All publishers who completed their latest payment run before November 19th 2008 will still be paid, but please note that no further payments will be made after this. Therefore, we recommend that all publishers remove any Matched ads from their websites.

Thank you very much for being part of the Matched.co.uk experience and we wish you the best of luck for the future success of your websites.

If you were quick enough to milk this cashcow out of these while it lasted, good on you. For those who are slightly lagged, don't give up, there are always other alternatives out there.

The following are the latest update for BuddyPond by the admin, Valerie (also the owner of Marketing Pond). It seems Buddy Pond is going to pull out from the PTC industry, despite the bad news, existing members will be paid gradually until they clear all payments.

I've thought on it a lot and came up with various ideas for BuddyPond. However, none of them realistically please me enough to continue onward with the BuddyPond PTC. One idea I had may work but still, it would probably take a long time for the idea to catch on well enough for it to be beneficial to anyone, members or admin. Some other ideas I have had result in BuddyPond being more of a PTR than a PTC...so here again, does not make much sense. I already have a PTR and I don't want another. If interested in my PTR just go to ReadersPond.com because there IS going to be some ad packages that will in fact be paying members 1 cents and more per click. In addition, ReadersPond.com will be adding GPT paid to do offers...I believe ReadersPond is going to be an excellent PTR program. But now, back to BuddyPond...

IF you are a FREE BuddyPond member, sorry, there is not much I can do for you. Simply stated, BuddyPond PTC will be closing. IF you are a PAID BuddyPond member, YES, I have something special and lucrative for you that you cannot get any where else but from me. I've partnered with the owner of one of the top PTC programs online (LinkGrand owner Garrett Rowland)... and we have partnered in something that is going to be very HUGE and very LUCRATIVE and very BENEFICIAL. IF you are a LIFE-TIME PAID BuddyPond member, you will receive ONE YEAR GOLD membership FREE....this is a normal cost of $240 for a year. I could have simply allowed BuddyPond to close shop like so many PTC's that go POOF with no warning. I could have told a fib and made up some wild story. The fact of the matter is, many members have been paid several times over earnings, BP has been online almost a year, and I could take it down legitimately without further ado. However, that is not me and that is not how I choose to operate. I appreciate your interest in BuddyPond and I appreciate everyone that PAID to be a member. So I am offering the PAID members an excellent trade off.

Future announcement arriving about what the PAID members will receive and what they need to do to get their paid gold and silver memberships into the new program.

BUDDYPOND PAYOUTS - IF you have $5 or more in earnings, request your earnings NOW. After the $5 payouts are paid, I will lower the payout to $4 and those with $4 or more can request payout. After those payouts are made, I will lower it to $3 and so on. ALL payout requests, as usual, are audited. IF you have further questions and a MP member, you can ask at the MP forum.

I have never thought people would want to hack into MyLot, but I'm extremely wrong! MyLot is now catering so many community members where people get together to share their opinions and thoughts, thus it's nothing strange being targeted.
